Sentence building classes for complete beginners
In this beginner class I guide you to form your own sentences, even with zero previous knowledge of Cantonese. Then, we utilize the sentences we made together to practice dialogues.
Output practice classes for intermediate and advanced students
A lot of Cantonese learners, especially heritage speakers, can understand spoken Cantonese really well, but have relatively limited ability to speak. I can help bridge the gap between your input and output ability. We engage in conversations (where YOU do most of the talking), both casual day-to-day topics and on particular subjects of interest.

Based on your time constrains, interests and preferences, I can share my knowledge of language learning with you from having learnt 3 languages by myself, and teach you how to teach yourself Cantonese in your own time.

Let me be straight with you. It is very hard to learn a language relying solely on a tutor. (yes, I'm saying this AS a language tutor!)
Think of me as your personal tour guide on this language learning adventure. I'll show you the path and walk alongside you, but ultimately, YOU'RE the one who needs to take each step forward. My job? Making sure you don't get lost and showing you the most enjoyable and efficient route to fluency.
For advanced learners, congratulations on mastering what's often considered the hardest language out there to learn. Now, you're looking to refine your skills even further, but it's hard to find someone who'll actually correct you properly. Language mistakes are tricky. Practice doesn't always make perfect, sometimes it makes permanent. Those mistakes you don't even realize you're making? I'll point them out constructively and respectfully. No more worrying about Cantonese-speaking friends laughing at your tones!
Lastly, I want to point out again that Cantonese is a really challenging language to learn. So if you are looking into learning, or are already learning Cantonese, give yourself a pat on the back! I admire you.
